The restaurant was built according to the innovative plans of the Obermoser Architect's Office – as well as the three mountain gondola stations. The glass facades open up new perspectives of the stunning Ötztal mountains. The entire building seems to be transparent and fits perfectly into the natural surroundings. Together with the top station of the 3-rope mountain gondola is ranks among Tirol's undisputed highlights when it comes to architectural masterpieces in ski areas.
The Hut: At Gampe Thaya only local produce from our own farms is used to prepare typical Ötztal specialties which are served in the cosy wooden parlors or on the wonderful sunbathing terrace. In the "Gampe Ladele" all local products are available for sale, like freshly made cheese. Large playground. Breakfast on the hut on request! Rustic mountain farm and dairy with Tirolean grey cattle, own mountain cheese production.

Fiegl´s Hütte on Windachalm 1985m:
Visit our Fiegl`s Hütte in the romantic Windachtal,
better known as "LITTLE CANADA" among mountain and hunting aficionados.
Approx. 1h45min. walking time from Sölden. It's also possible to take the bus line from Sölden to us. The bus stops approx. 500m in front of our hut. For bike aficionados there are plenty of singletrail routes in all difficulties leading from and to the hut.
Tasty dishes and refreshing drinks and a cozy spot with a great view right to the Stuibai and Ötztal Alps...Fiegl`s Hütte...amidst "Sölden's quiet part". It's the starting point for scenic mountain hikes e.g. to the "Zuckerhütl", the highest mountain in the Stuibai Alps, as well as various hut hikes: Hochstubaihütte 4-5h, Siegerlandhütte 3h, Hildesheimerhütte 3h and Brunnenkogelhaus 3h, Kleble Alm 2h
However, if these tours are too demanding, you can also hike leisurely in the Windachtal - without high gradients - on a comfortable hiking path. Or you just enjoy this border valley between the Ötztaler and Stubai Alps in Fiegl's hut, with cake and coffee.

Gampe Alm offers cozy parlors, a sunbathing terrace with deck chairs, a unique playground, and a traditional mountain hut ensemble since from 1788.
The beautiful Gampe Alm can be reached on foot in 15 mins. (Rettenbach Strasse - Stabele), 35 mins. (turnoff Hochsölden Strasse) or in 45 mins. (Hochsölden)
