OUR HÜHNERSTEIGN ARE LOCATED UP ON 2,012 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ÖTZTALER ALPS - CLOSE TO THE GLACIER ROAD. IN OUR ORIGINAL MOUNTAIN HUT WITH TYROLEAN ATMOSPHERE AND AUTHENTIC FLAIR, WE CREATE SPACE FOR MOMENTS OF ENJOYMENT, AMBIANCE AND SPECIAL MEMORIES.

Inside and outside, we are welcomimg you high above Sölden, to Annemarie's Hühnersteign. During summer we are the perfect destination for everyone who wants to stop and relax after a hike or bike tour. In winter, thanks to our great location right on the ski slope and the glacier road, we offer the ideal rest point - to warm up, strengthen yourself and to get together.
From February on, we are also happy to welcome you on our sun terrace with beautiful mountain views and serve you good things from our kitchen and cellar. In addition to our warm hospitality, this is another reason why some guests would prefer to come to us every day!

All year round, in addition to our traditional delicacies and Tyrolean cuisine, we offer the ideal setting for special occasions and celebrations for up to 120 people, of course individually adapted to you and your wishes. Rustic hut fun guaranteed!

Special wines and a well-matched range of indulgence create space for up to 20 people - unique enjoyment and mountain moments included!

The Hut: At Gampe Thaya only local produce from our own farms is used to prepare typical Ötztal specialties which are served in the cosy wooden parlors or on the wonderful sunbathing terrace. In the "Gampe Ladele" all local products are available for sale, like freshly made cheese. Large playground. Breakfast on the hut on request! Rustic mountain farm and dairy with Tirolean grey cattle, own mountain cheese production.

With the cozy hut Stallwiesalm you have reached a great mountain hut in the foothills of mighty Söldenkogl peak at 1.850 m altitude.
The hut is well known for its culinary delicious comprising Tyrolean specialities like roast pork shank, spare ribs, cheese spaetzles and Emperor-style shredded pancake!

Fiegl's Hütte (Windachalm)

Fiegl´s Hütte on Windachalm 1985m:

Visit our Fiegl`s Hütte in the romantic Windachtal,

better known as "LITTLE CANADA" among mountain and hunting aficionados.

Approx. 1h45min. walking time from Sölden. It's also possible to take the bus line from Sölden to us. The bus stops approx. 500m in front of our hut. For bike aficionados there are plenty of singletrail routes in all difficulties leading from and to the hut.

Tasty dishes and refreshing drinks and a cozy spot with a great view right to the Stuibai and Ötztal Alps...Fiegl`s Hütte...amidst "Sölden's quiet part". It's the starting point for scenic mountain hikes e.g. to the "Zuckerhütl", the highest mountain in the Stuibai Alps, as well as various hut hikes: Hochstubaihütte 4-5h, Siegerlandhütte 3h, Hildesheimerhütte 3h and Brunnenkogelhaus 3h, Kleble Alm 2h

However, if these tours are too demanding, you can also hike leisurely in the Windachtal - without high gradients - on a comfortable hiking path. Or you just enjoy this border valley between the Ötztaler and Stubai Alps in Fiegl's hut, with cake and coffee.

Gampe Alm offers cozy parlors, a sunbathing terrace with deck chairs, a unique playground, and a traditional mountain hut ensemble since from 1788.

The beautiful Gampe Alm can be reached on foot in 15 mins. (Rettenbach Strasse - Stabele), 35 mins. (turnoff Hochsölden Strasse) or in 45 mins. (Hochsölden)

Gampe Alm is a great place for a relaxed and enjoyable evening with friends.
Groups should book in advance! Taxi service on request!
