Der Übungsklettersteig Piburg ist ein kleiner Klettersteig am Westufer des Piburger Sees direkt im Ort Piburg. Die kurzweilige Ferrata quert ansteigend eine kleine Felswand und hat im Mittelteil eine kleine Seilbrücke. Für Leute mit wenig Klettersteigerfahrung ist diese Ferrata ideal um ersten Fels-/Eisenkontakt im Ötztal zu erleben.

Gut mit Stahlseil und Trittklammern versichert.

 

Ergänzung zur Schwierigkeit:

Kurze Passage B/C, meist aber um A und B.

 

Zustieg zur Wand:

Vom Parkplatz auf dem Forstweg zum kleinen Gerätehaus der Feuerwehr und dahinter zur schon sichtbaren Felswand.

 

Abstieg:

Vom Ausstieg auf dem Pfad unterhalb der Wand zurück zum Forstweg und auf diesem zum Parkplatz.

Der Klettersteig liegt schattig im Buschwald - nach Regenfällen bzw. im Frühjahr bzw. Herbst eher feucht.

Wer schon mal dort ist, sollte sich auf jeden Fall den Piburger See anschauen - vom Parkplatz beim Hotel Seerose geht man ca. 5 Minuten hinunter zum See.
