4 days trend

During the first half of the week, the Alps will remain under a tight, westerly upper-level flow, bringing in subtropical air masses of Atlantic origin. On Tuesday, precipitation will not be as heavy as on Monday, but it will still be overcast and relatively wet overall. The snowline is around 2000 meters above sea level. Moving towards Wednesday, slightly colder but less humid air will infiltrate our region. The weather will remain prone to further showers, but sunny gaps are also expected in between. The snowline will drop to 1500 meters above sea level. By Thursday, with a shift in the wind to the northwest, temperatures will continue to drop. The air mass will remain susceptible to showers, and the snowline will reach 1000 meters above sea level. The peak of cooling is expected on Friday. Under strong, partly high-altitude cloud cover, there may be some last, not very significant showers. The snowline will descend to lower valley elevations. Clear weather will prevail over the upcoming weekend, accompanied by a significant warming trend.
