Nothing is better than a family vacation where everyone is happy and wants the same thing: mountain biking and cycling! Right from start the BIKE REPUBLIC's vision was that everyone should really feel at home. And therefore age doesn't matter to our citizens. The kids* are equally full citizens with their own passport, a say and of course bike trails and facilities on which they can let off steam - from 3 year old balance cyclists to passionate freeride rookies.

 

*Please note: Children up to 10 years are allowed to use the bike routes and trails only with the explicit consent of their parents/legal guardians and must also be accompanied by an adult person.

Sölden Summer Pumptrack Rollin

Our pump tracks are super popular with all kids (and adults alike). Endless loops and tracks await you here, a perfect place to practice biking techniques skills and improve skills. In Sölden there are two pump tracks, Rollin' and Sunny. You will find another pump track in Oetz - right on the Ötztal Cycle Trail, close to WIDI's Kids Park and the outdoor swimming pool.

You will be truly surprised how quickly the youngest ones will be ready for the routes in the ultimate BIKE REPUBLIC. The easy blue LINES are perfect for first trail rides. They promise absolute fun while riding skills and self-confidence improve at the same time - quick progress at the heart of a sensational Alpine landscape.

Because everything in the BIKE REPUBLIC is geared towards this common idea, our bike schools have been offering courses for kids already for years - similar to the ski schools in winter: You can accompany your children to the biking lessons and pick them up a couple of hours later - soon they will overtake you on the trails. Just perfect for the youngest bikers from 3+ years, for rookies as well as for teen riders up to 14 years.

Of course, there are also a lot of other things for children to do in the valley - even though they are not in the saddle. After cycling and biking you can visit, for example, the Ötzi Village or the Birds of Prey Park in Umhausen - perhaps with a stop at the nearby Ötztalerei where you can sample tasty ice cream made from local ingredients. Or you take the mountain gondola up to the WIDIVERSUM adventure land in Hochoetz - probably followed by a delicious "Kaiserschmarrn" served at Bielefelder Hütte.
