The south cross-country ski run from Längenfeld to Huben is very popular with cross-country skiers as it leads across varied terrain. The start (near Camping Ötztal) is still in dense forest. However, this clears right away and the trail leads you past the thermal bath Aqua Dome in the direction of Astlehn / Runhof. There you cross the bridge and drive through snow-covered meadows, with wonderful views of the Ötztal mountains to Huben. At the southernmost point, the round takes a turn. The way back on the football field over to the district Mühl. From Runhof where the bridge was crossed again, the route now leads back along the Ötztaler Ache to the starting point.

Author’s recommendation

After a round of cross-country skiing, you can relax in the Aqua Dome thermal bath.
